Story Behind the Art:
Shalini Saluja has always known she would be a designer. 'It's my passion. I used to work as an engineer, and seeing my enthusiasm for design, my boss agreed to sponsor me for a course in fashion designing. It was such a fun experience. I'll always cherish it. I eventually quit my job and started designing garments, home furnishings and accessories. I love working in traditional techniques and patterns. I now collaborate with various NGO's where I teach other women.'
